We have two great sets for our second day of DJAZZ. Group theory at 7pm then a chance to grab a beer and see another show elsewhere before coming back to HQ for 9pm to see the ever brilliant Redemption.
REDEMPTION – 8:30pm doors – 9pm start
The second of three evenings as part of Durham’s new DJAZZ festival sees Empty Shop HQ’s long standing Jazz Session take part in DJAZZ. As ever, we have collaborated with Newcastle’s Jazz – Co-Op to bring another fantastic session.
A jazz quartet, Redemption deliver hard driving Bebop, Latin and funk jazz in an upfront, uncompromising and distinctive style.

A young and dynamic Jazz ensemble creating music in the North East of England.
DJAZZ is a new three day festival bringing together the region’s best jazz players in Durham’s most intriguing independent venues. Weekend tickets are only £10* and gain holders access to more than 25 events over three days.
