A chance to see a special advance preview of ‘The First Sign of Madness’ before it heads to the Buxton Fringe. This short play has been highlighted as one of the top ten early picks by Fringe Review.

Written by Chris Neville-Smith, 2012 finalist of New Writing North’s People’s Play competition.
Performed by Nicki Noble, reprising her part from Durham Dramatic Society’s New Writing Festival.

Duration: 30 minutes

The First Sign of MadnessJoanna always dreamed of a scene like this: sitting on a park bench with Craig, flowers in her hands, admiring the view. For a long time, she never told him how she felt, but this time, she tells him everything she’s ever wanted to say. But is he really listening? Who is she really talking to? And is this really the moment she imagined?

It will cost £7.00 to see it this play at Buxton Fringe, but you can see it for FREE at the Empty Shop before anyone else as we begin our previews.
