Exhibitions to check out featuring friends of Empty Shop
February 4th, 2010
If you are at a loose end and want to see some art, there are two exhibitions happening this week featuring previous Empty Shop exhibitors.
The first is a photography exhibition at the F-Stop Gallery at Digitalab in the Ouseburn Valley. Chris Webb, who exhibited with us last year and is always happy to lend a hand when we need him, is having his first solo exhibition after winning ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly’ photo competition - judged by Joe Cornish no less! You can check out his winning image and a bunch of his other photographs on Thursday from 5pm – 8pm.

The second show, Informer, is on Friday and sees previous exhibitor and trusty volunteer Megan Pickering in a group show with her fellow classmates and tutors from the Sunderland University Foundation course. The theme is ‘Game Play’ and if the work we have seen from Megan is anything to go by this should definitely be worth a a look.
Friday 6pm – 8pm
