Doodledah! Hand made sketch pads…

September 23, 2012

We caught wind of this recently; graphic designer Jon Penny has set up a local business hand making and selling sketch pads. Along with artist Naomi Baldini, who has exhibited with us in the past, they recycle a bunch of stuff to make these lovely pads, here’s the blurb…

“Everything here at doodledah is handmade and handsaved

That means that every single notepad, notebook, sketchbook, journal, diary & doodle pad we create is made by hand using materials saved (mostly) from the recycling bin.

From receipts to junkmail, shoe boxes to old billboards, doodledah give materials a second chance.”

Local, handmade, practical, responsible – sound good to us. Check them out…
