We are currently looking for artists/illustrators to participate in a two day window drawing event using paint markers. This will be a public event in Durham City and we are looking for artists who are competent in working this way or are confident in doing so. There is scope for large scale individual pieces and collaborative work.
Materials and food will be provided and there is also the opportunity for a sales area (prints, t-shirts, whatever else relevant you have).
Along with this opportunity we can offer documentation and PR in addition to promotion through Empty Shop website and through our various networks.
The work will stay up for quite a while and will no doubt draw attention from the public as the live drawing takes place.
Friday 3rd Feb: Evening/night
- Access to the windows out of public hours
Saturday 4th: 10am onwards – live draw
Sunday 5th: 10am – 4pm – Finish off if you need to
There is no brief although work needs to be family friendly due to the public nature of the venue.
